Chicago NATO protesters indicted on 11 counts of terror


Three protesters, who were arrested prior to the NATO Summit in Chicago on terrorism-related charges, have now been indicted by a Grand Jury.
Digital Journal reported in May on questions into police involvement in alleged terror plots during the NATO Summit in Chicago.
Three men, Brian Church, Jared Chase and Brent Vincent Betterly, were arrested in an undercover operation, under the Illinois anti-terrorism statutes. They were detained on charges that included conspiracy to commit terrorism and also material support for terrorism, due to home-made beer-making equipment found in their apartment.
