'Yes to Prop 37' campaign produces television advert (video)


California Right to Know has now produced a hard-hitting TV advert to make people aware of their cause - the labeling of products containing genetically modified ingredients.

Monsanto puts $4.2 million into the anti-GMO labeling pot


According to the latest campaign finance reports, Monsanto has just contributed $4.2 million in opposition of Proposition 37 for GMO labeling in California, which comes up for voting in the November elections.
Digital Journal reported yesterday on the $10 million in donations by food makers and pesticide companies, to oppose Proposition 37. Prop 37 would require all foods with genetically engineered contents to be labeled.... read more.

'Yes on 37' now endorsed by California Democratic Party



In another win for the "Yes on 37" Right to Know campaign, the California Democratic Party agrees that we have the right to know if our food is genetically engineered.
Digital Journal reported on July 25 that the "Yes on 37" Right to Know campaign was organizing one million more voters.
Good news followed on July 27, when the campaign received three major endorsements, with the support of the 2.1 million member strong California Labor Legislation, and two high ranking leaders in their respective legislative bodies... read more.

'Yes on 37' Right to Know — organizing one million more voters



Organizing another million Californians who want the right to know what's in their food - this is the pledge made today by the California "Yes to 37" Right to Know Campaign.
Digital Journal reported on July 10 that the California "Right to Know" GMO labeling measure is Proposition 37 on the November ballot. Voters have shown high support for Prop 37, but will that translate to votes in November?
A deep, grassroots passion has arisen for a campaign formed so that consumers can know what's in their food. A statewide network of thousands of volunteers helped the measure to quickly qualify for the November ballot. The initiative, calling for simple labels on products that have been genetically engineered, collected almost one million signatures in only 10 weeks.... read more.
