'Sirius' documentary has premiered, now available to view or buy

On April 22, Dr Steven Greer and filmmaker Amardeep Kaleka premiered their new documentary "Sirius" to the world, streamed online from Los Angeles, Ca. The film is now available for viewing and purchase.

Yiannis Biliris has created a short documentary which, with very few words, gives a clear picture of the current economic crisis in Greece. The video shows us that Greece's economic rape is turning into a social one.

Biliris was born in Athens, Greece in May 1980.

BBC docudrama on 2011 London riots banned from the air

No one can actually tell you why it was banned, but the BBC's docudrama, which recreates witness and police statements during the 2011 London riots, cannot be aired.

The two-part docudrama was created using actors portraying witnesses to the riots, but stating exactly what the original witnesses said at the time. It also details police statements made during the London riots in 2011.

Both episodes have been banned from being broadcast by a court ruling, which the BBC lawyers now plan to appeal... read more.

'War of the Flea' — documentary on farm murders in South Africa

Independent filmmaker and director, Rian van der Walt, has created a moving and shocking film showing the genocide which is being carried out against white farmers in South Africa.

"War of the Flea" is a 93-minute documentary, released in November 2011, which examines in depth society in South Africa since Apartheid, and how this society has led to vicious farm murders.

The name "War of the Flea" derives from a military term:

"The guerrilla fights the war of the flea and his military enemy suffers the dog’s disadvantages: too much to defend; too small, ubiquitous, and agile an enemy to come to grips with. A documentary has been produced about the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York City, U.S.A. Interviews with protesters are included and views are given by other people in the street.

Although spring in New York is still chilly, the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) members are out in the streets trying to make their case.
