Italian scales Vatican cathedral dome in anti-EU protest (video)

An Italian restaurateur was on top of St Peter's Basilica in Rome on Tuesday, protesting against the Italian government and Prime Minister Mario Monti in particular.

Marcello Di Finizio, the restaurateur, tagged along with a group of tourists in order to gain access to the Dome. Once there, he abandoned the tour, climbed over the railings and lowered himself on to a window ledge. He then draped a banner over the dome of the cathedral reading, "Help!!! Exorcist claims 15-year-old was kidnapped for Vatican sex parties

15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi was kidnapped in 1983. And now in a controversial statement, Father Gabriele Amorth has claimed that the girl's kidnapping was a "crime of a sexual nature."

Emanuela Orlandi was the daughter of a Vatican employee. She was believed to have been kidnapped after a music lesson in Rome on June 22, 1983, when she was 15-years-old.
