AMA is considering labels on genetically engineered food

The American Medical Association is now considering the labeling of products that contain genetically modified or engineered foods.
While Monsanto continues to emphasize that there is no difference between traditional and genetically modified organisms, and while most medical organizations currently believe this, things are about to hopefully change.
The American Medical Association (AMA) might soon support the labeling of GMOs through federal legislation or regulation.
Hoping to accelerate the process towards direct labeling of GMOs, the Illinois State Medical Society and the Indiana State Medical Association have both introduced resolutions to the AMA on this subject. The Dragon capsule has now completed its mission at the International Space Station and has safely returned home to Earth.

An ambitious new project has started. Mars One plans to establish the first human settlement on Mars in 2023. Only one problem, you can't come back.
The project plans to establish the first ever human settlement on Mars. The habitable settlement will be placed on Mars ready for the settlers when they land. This settlement will be set up so as to support them while they live and work on Mars.
The technical plan for the mission is being kept as simple as possible. Mars One have identified at least one supplier for every component required for the mission.

Syngenta to pay $105 million for contaminating US water supply


One of Monsanto's biggest competitors, Syngenta, AG has settled a class-action lawsuit and is to pay the Plaintiffs $105 million in settlement.
Atrazine, a product of Syngenta AG, is a weed killer used on corn by many farmers in the Midwest region of the U.S.
