Video: CCTV footage of arson attack on Microsoft in Greece


Police in Athens have now released CCTV footage of the arson attack on Microsoft's office in Greece, showing the arsonists forcing entry into the building.
Digital Journal reported on the armed attack on the offices of Microsoft on June 27.
The incident occurred after security guards were forced out of the building at gunpoint by the arsonists. The fire almost completely burnt down the main entrance of the building... watch video.

'Syria files' released by WikiLeaks


Julian Assange might be languishing in the Ecuadorian Embassy, but WikiLeaks is still active, and has announced the release almost 2.5 million emails relating to Syria.
In a recent article, Digital Journal reported that a member of WikiLeaks had said that the organization would continue its work, despite the problems being experienced by Julian Assange and the general crack-down on whistleblowers. Israeli Border Control officer caught on video kicking child


Caught on camera, an Israeli Border Police officer kicks a Palestinian child in the southern West Bank. Police have launched a probe into the incident.
The incident was filmed by a volunteer from B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights organization, on June 29 in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank.
The video footage shows a 9-year-old Palestinian boy walking down the road, when a uniformed officer runs up to him and grabs his arm, causing the child to fall on the ground... read more and watch video.

Video: Fireworks light the sky in Washington, DC on July 4


The sky was lit by a magnificent firework display last night over Washington, DC, as the country celebrated Independence Day.
While an Oregon town canceled their firework display over concern about sea birds, and many Americans were without power on July 4, there was no shortage of light in Washington, DC.
The fireworks lit the sky over the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and the U.S. Capitol, to celebrate the nation's 236th birthday.... watch video.
