'Beat the Blockade' — WikiLeaks open for donations via France


WikiLeaks is now open for donations, as they have found yet another way around the banking blockade by Visa and Mastercard, through a French non-profit.
On their website is a statement that a blockade by Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Western Union and the Bank of America against donation payments to WikiLeaks, has been in effect now for 592 days.
The blockade was put in place after WikiLeaks published around 250,000 secret State Department cables in December 2010.... read more.

Most wanted 97-year-old Nazi war criminal arrested in Hungary


Ladislaus Csizsik-Csatary, 97, sent 15,700 Jews to Auschwitz in 1941, while employed as a police commander in a Slovakian Ghetto. Now he has finally been caught.
Apparently Csatary fled to Canada with a new identity after being sentenced to death for his war crimes. His identity was once again revealed, and he has been on the run for the last fifteen years... read more.
