Guatemala volcano eruption forces evacuation of thousands


Around 33,000 people were evacuated in five communities in Guatemala's capital city on Wednesday due to Volcano of Fire eruption.
According to seismologists, the 3,763-meter (12,346-foot) high volcano is billowing our lava and ash nearly 600 meters (2,000 feet) into the sky. They further say that explosions have been coming from the volcano.... read more.

Climate activists block Shell headquarters with ice pyramid


Activists from Climate Justice Collective built an icy pyramid at Shell's London headquarters on Tuesday, in protest over Arctic oil drilling.
There have been several protests about the drilling for oil in the Arctic over the last few months, so far, with no effect.
Shell's exploratory oil expedition off the Alaskan coast started this week, but was halted on Monday when sea ice was seen to be drifting towards the drilling vessel.
Fifteen activists from Climate Justice Collective decided to try and do something about the situation on Tuesday, by blockading the entrance to Shell's London headquarters with a pyramid of ice blocks... read more and watch video.

Video: Drunk falls on rail tracks, gets robbed, hit by train


The CCTV cameras caught a disturbing incident in a Stockholm underground station and police are now seeking a thief, who left a man for dead.
Early on Sunday morning, a middle-aged, drunk man staggers along the platform in the underground train station, and accidentally falls down on to the track.
