RT News has been nominated for an Emmy Award for its coverage of the Occupy Wall Street movement. While the mainstream media either ignored or mocked, RT gave coverage from day one.

RT's website suffering a massive DDoS attack


Many people from all over the world are complaining on RT's Facebook page that they cannot access the RT News website. Turns out they are now suffering a massive DDoS attack.
This morning, it is impossible to access the RT News website at RT.com.
You either get a message saying the website is currently available, or it just hangs on and on trying to connect.
Initially RT tweeted that their website was experiencing technical problems, and that they didn't know the cause.... read more.

Julian Assange 'The World Tomorrow' Episode 1 — Hassan Nasrallah


In the first episode of the controversial new series produced by Julian Assange of WikiLeaks fame, Assange interviews Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
In the long-anticipated first episode of the series "The World Tomorrow" being produced by Julian Assange on RT News, Julian Assange interviews the Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah confirmed that this was his first interview in 6 years.
Nasrallah advises that Hezbollah had urged the Syrian opposition to engage in dialogue with Assad's regime, but that they had refused to do so.
In the interview, Nasrallah tells Assange that Hezbollah supports Syrian president Bashar al-Assad. He said that Syria supported resistance in Lebanon and “hasn't backed down in the face of Israeli and American pressure.” .... read full article and view video of episode 1.

Assange show premieres on RT on Tuesday - 'The World Tomorrow'


A brand new series of controversial interviews starts on Tuesday 17 April 2012. The series will feature interviews between Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and controversial people worldwide and should be an eye-opener.
RT has announced that the most anticipated news show of 2012 will premiere on RT next week. The first episode will air on April 17, 15:30 Moscow time, 11:30 GMT, 21:30 in Sydney or 07:30 am in New York.
