Assange 'The World Tomorrow' episode 11: Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia


In this final episode, Julian Assange talks to Anwar Ibrahim, the main opposition leader in Malaysia. Assange and Ibrahim share may similar experiences.
Anwar Ibraham has twice served prison terms for what he calls politically-motivated criminal cases. However, he keeps fighting for democracy in Malaysia, a country he brands less democratic than even Burma.
Former deputy prime minister of Malaysia and now leader of the opposition party in that country, Ibrahim says that by democracy, he means, “an independent judiciary, free media and an economic policy that can promote growth and the market economy.” ... read more and watch interview.

Assange Episode 9: 'Pakistan a hired gun to kill US enemies'


This week on "The World Tomorrow", Julian Assange interviews Imran Khan, a Pakistani anti-corruption activist and politician known by some as 'a one-man-party'.
Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, statesman and former cricketer, who played international cricket for two decades in the late twentieth century.
After retiring from cricket, he entered politics. Currently, besides his political activism, Khan is also a philanthropist, cricket commentator, Chancellor of the University of Bradford and Founder and Chairman Board of Governors of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.
In April 1996, Khan founded and became the chairman of a political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Movement for Justice). In part 2 of Assange's interview with the Cypherpunk movement, we learn how Internet privacy is in danger and what steps can be taken to protect this.
As stated in last week's episode, cyber threats, hacker attacks and laws are officially aiming to tackle Internet piracy, but are, in fact, infringing on people's rights to online privacy.
Cypherpunks is a movement originating from Cypherpunks’ Electronic Mailing List, which was set up by activists aiming to improve Internet privacy and security through proactive use of cryptography. Sources close to WikiLeaks and Julian Assange have told RT, “The FBI is apparently collecting evidence to indict Julian Assange before a grand jury. Sweden must not be the final destination of the designed extradition.”

Julian Assange interviews representatives from OWS and Occupy London.


Julian Assange and the Occupy movement have much in common. They both criticize governments and are often condemned by the mainstream media.


In the latest episode of Assange's talk show, "The World Tomorrow", they discuss the spread of the Occupy protests in the U.S.A.


Normally Assange's interviews are held in his own home where he is under house-arrest, but this week, due to the size of the crowd, it was held in the old Deutche Bank of London, which is controlled by friends of Occupy.  Read more and view video interview.

This week Julian Assange interviews President Rafael Correa of Ecuador, one of the most democratic leaders in South America and a champion for the poor.
Assange and President Correa (full name Rafael Vicente Correa Delgado) discuss the media and how it affects Ecuador.
They also discuss the Ecuadorians' take on the United States and its involvement in Latin America.
Assange asks Correa, "What do the people think of the U.S. and its involvement in Ecuador."

'The World Tomorrow' Ep 4. Rajab & El-Fattah: Arab Spring (video)

This week's episode of the controversial talk show discusses the Arab Spring. Assange interviews Nabeel Rajab, human rights leader from Bahrain and Alaa Abd El-Fattah, political activist from Egypt.
Julian Assange interviews both activists who are involved in the Arab Spring to find out the latest status of the movement.
Nabeel Rajab is the president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and is the foremost critic of the Al-Khalifa regime in the country, which continues its brutal crackdown on peaceful protesters. With over 140,000 followers on Twitter, he is one of the most well-known online activists in the Arab world.

Human rights activist Nabeel Rajab arrested in Bahrain

Nabeel Rajab, one the subjects interviewed in Assange's "The World Tomorrow" to be aired on Tuesday this week, has been arrested in Bahrain.
Recently interviewed by Julian Assange on the upcoming episode of "The World Tomorrow", Nabeel Rajab, a human rights activist has been arrested on his return to Beirut.
According to Sayed Yousif al-Muhafda, a member of the BCHR, "The police arrested him near the plane's door. They said they had an arrest warrant from the public prosecutions office ... he was allowed to call his family after the arrest but they could not see him."
Rajab is the president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and is the foremost critic of the Al-Khalifa regime in the country, which continues its brutal crackdown on peaceful protesters... read full article.

Episode 3 of the controversial talk show series by Julian Assange features an interview with the current president of Tunisia, President Moncef Marzouki.
The infamous interview show hosted by Julian Assange continues this week with Assange speaking to Tunisia's first post-revolution leader. Discussion is on the West's double-standards in protecting human rights.
Tunisia is where the Arab Spring originated and their revolution gave impetus to people in other Arab countries to protest for democracy, freedom and their basic human rights.

In episode 2 of this controversial series, Julian Assange of WikiLeaks fame interviews two people from totally separate points of view. One from the left-wing and one from the right.
On the left is Slovenian sociologist, philosopher and former anti-communist dissident turned communist, Slavoj Zizek. On the right is David Horowitz, who is a radical right-wing Zionist. In previous years Horowitz was a left-wing radical and was involved in fundraising for the Black Panther Party.

Tomorrow reveals the second episode of Julian Assange's controversial talk show 'The World Tomorrow'. This time Assange will be interviewing two people.
Last week Digital Journal reported on the first episode of the series in which Julian Assange interviewed Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah including a video of the talk show.

Video: Julian Assange & MSM criticism over 'The World Tomorrow'


Further criticism by the mainstream media on the new Assange interview series "The World Tomorrow" is calling Assange a "puppet for the Kremlin".
Digital Journal published the first episode of the controversial talk show on April 17, which included an interview with the Hezbollah leader, and a further article and video discussed how both RT News and Julian Assange were in trouble with the U.S.

Assange and RT in trouble with US for 'The World Tomorrow'


Following the first episode of Julian Assange's "The World Tomorrow" where he interviewed Hassan Nasrallah, the U.S. is angry.
According to RT, the U.S. is intolerant to criticism.
The first controversial episode of "The World Tomorrow" aired yesterday, in which Julian Assange interviewed the leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. Digital Journal posted an article including the video of the interview.
Julian Assange's debut as a TV interviewer on RT News has drawn both criticism and praise from around the world, as was expected beforehand.

In the first episode of the controversial new series produced by Julian Assange of WikiLeaks fame, Assange interviews Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
In the long-anticipated first episode of the series "The World Tomorrow" being produced by Julian Assange on RT News, Julian Assange interviews the Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah confirmed that this was his first interview in 6 years.
Nasrallah advises that Hezbollah had urged the Syrian opposition to engage in dialogue with Assad's regime, but that they had refused to do so.

Assange show premieres on RT on Tuesday - 'The World Tomorrow'


A brand new series of controversial interviews starts on Tuesday 17 April 2012. The series will feature interviews between Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and controversial people worldwide and should be an eye-opener.
RT has announced that the most anticipated news show of 2012 will premiere on RT next week. The first episode will air on April 17, 15:30 Moscow time, 11:30 GMT, 21:30 in Sydney or 07:30 am in New York.
