'Sirius' documentary has premiered, now available to view or buy


On April 22, Dr Steven Greer and filmmaker Amardeep Kaleka premiered their new documentary "Sirius" to the world, streamed online from Los Angeles, Ca. The film is now available for viewing and purchase.

Video: MUTE — The visualization of an economic rape


Yiannis Biliris has created a short documentary which, with very few words, gives a clear picture of the current economic crisis in Greece. The video shows us that Greece's economic rape is turning into a social one.

Biliris was born in Athens, Greece in May 1980.

A parody video that has gone viral on YouTube is a spoof on Disney princesses, including the Little Mermaid, Belle, Snow White and Cinderella, singing about organic food, vinyl, and poetry against a backdrop of the city of New York.

Series of earthquakes hits southwestern China (video)


A series of earthquakes in southwestern China has caused the death of at least 50 people and injured 150. At least 60 aftershocks were experienced and 20,000 buildings have been damaged.
According to Xinhua news agency, the largest of a series of earthquakes registered 5.7 on the Richter scale with the largest tremor striking the area at a depth of 14 kilometers.
At least 50 people are dead as a result of the quakes and 150 others have been injured... read more and view video.

Luke Rudkowski: Message to humanity (video)


Luke Rudkowski of We are Change had one wish for his birthday. He asked everyone on Twitter and Facebook to make videos of themselves, saying their one message to the world.
Rudkowski got a surprise, as he did not expect the over 100 video submissions that he received, and the large workload ahead of him.
He found the project hard, but very humbling and inspiring, hearing from people all over the world, with their messages for mankind.

Filming police is your constitutional right (video)


Washington, DC police officials have issued a statement that according to the First Amendment, citizens have the right to video the actions of police officers.
There have been much controversy about citizens filming the actions of police. The latest example is the massive protests in Anaheim, where residents filmed police officers abusing people, shooting bean bags and pepper balls, and releasing a canine on innocent people nearby.

Video: CCTV footage of arson attack on Microsoft in Greece


Police in Athens have now released CCTV footage of the arson attack on Microsoft's office in Greece, showing the arsonists forcing entry into the building.
Digital Journal reported on the armed attack on the offices of Microsoft on June 27.
The incident occurred after security guards were forced out of the building at gunpoint by the arsonists. The fire almost completely burnt down the main entrance of the building... watch video.

A documentary has been produced about the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York City, U.S.A. Interviews with protesters are included and views are given by other people in the street.
Although spring in New York is still chilly, the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) members are out in the streets trying to make their case.
The movement includes people from very varied backgrounds, but the agenda remains the same. Málaga, Spain: 12m protest May 12, 2012 (video)

While the subject of the protest was a serious one, members of the 15m movement from Málaga and the surrounding towns protested in true Malagueñan style. They partied.
You've heard the term "the beautiful game"? Well when it comes to 15m protests in Málaga, what you experience is "the beautiful noise". Anyone who didn't realize the purpose for yesterday's manifestation might, understandably, have thought there was a great big party going on.

Video of CA cops beating homeless man to death shown in court

Almost a year ago, 2 California police officers beat a 37-year-old homeless man, Kelly Thomas to death. Now video footage of the brutal attack has been revealed in court.
Digital Journal reported in September 2011 on the case against the 2 Fullerton police officers, Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinelli.
On July 5 last year Kelly Thomas, a 37-year-old schizophrenic homeless man, was so badly beaten and stun-gunned by Fullerton California police officers that he was left unrecognizable. He died 5 days later from blunt force trauma to the head... read full article and view video (warning! graphic!).

Video: presidential election humor in Obama vs Obama


Poking fun at the current presidential elections, the video shows an interview with Obama's chief strategist, where the interviewer trips him up at every step with amusing results.
Huffington Post has reported that President Barack Obama, in his speech at the 2008 Democratic convention, stated clearly that there would be a big clean up in Washington should he be elected.
Barack Obama said: “You understand that in this election, the greatest risk we can take is to try the same old politics with the same old players and expect a different result.”
